By using PDFLoveMe ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

PDFLoveMe provides browser-based PDF tools that run locally on your device. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only on files you own or have the right to process. You are solely responsible for the content of the files you process.

No warranty

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will meet your requirements. Always keep backups of your original files. We are not responsible for any data loss or corruption.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFLoveMe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Plans & payment

Every tool on this site is free to use, with no account and no paid tier. Files are currently capped at 50 MB each and 20 files at a time — a limit that exists because the work happens in your browser's memory, not because of a plan. If a paid tier is ever introduced these terms will be updated first.

How processing works

Every tool on this site runs inside your own browser. Files you select are read into browser memory on your device, processed there, and written back out as a download. They are not transmitted to PDFLoveMe, and no copy of them is created on any server operated by PDFLoveMe. A practical consequence worth stating plainly: because nothing is received, nothing can be returned. If you lose a document, it cannot be recovered from this site.

Technical limits

The tools accept files up to 50 MB each, and up to 20 files at one time. These figures are properties of the software, not of a pricing plan, and they exist because processing happens in your browser's available memory. Very large or very complex documents may fail, run slowly, or exhaust memory on lower-specification devices, and older browsers may not support all features. Availability is not guaranteed, and the Service may be changed or withdrawn.

Third-party components

The Service is built on open-source libraries that are served from this site rather than loaded from a third-party network — currently pdf-lib, the Cantoo fork of pdf-lib, fontkit, Mozilla's pdf.js, and JSZip. Each remains the property of its authors and is used under its own licence, which is distributed alongside it in this site's source. PDFLoveMe's own name, design and code are released under the MIT Licence.

Advertising and tracking

There is no advertising on this site and no advertising partner; the ads.txt file at the root of the domain states as much. The contents of the documents you process are not read, transmitted, collected or analysed, because they never leave your device in the first place.

Intellectual property

The PDFLoveMe name, design, and code are owned by their respective authors. Third-party libraries are used under their respective open-source licenses.

Changes

We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
