Contact

I'm Hill, the person behind PDFLoveMe. I genuinely read every message — feedback is how this site gets better.

Email

The best way to reach me is by email:

What to write about

  • Feedback & ideas — tell me what's useful, what's confusing, or which tool you wish existed.
  • Bug reports — if a tool misbehaves, let me know your browser and device, and what you were trying to do. It helps me fix it faster.
  • Partnerships & enquiries — happy to hear from people interested in working together.

When you can expect a reply

PDFLoveMe is built and answered by one person. There is no support team, no ticketing system and no rota, so there is no response time I can honestly promise you — some messages get answered the same day and some sit until a weekend. What I can tell you is that every message is read, and that a clear, self-contained report gets a useful reply far faster than one that needs three rounds of questions first. If your message is time-critical, say so in the subject line.

What to include in a bug report

Because the tools run inside your browser rather than on a server, I have no logs to look at after the fact — the whole event happened on your machine and left no trace on mine. That makes your description the only evidence there is. The more of this you can include, the better:

  • Which tool — the page address, for example the merge or the compress page.
  • Your browser and version, and your operating system. This is the single most useful line, because most PDF problems that affect one person and not another come down to differences between browser PDF engines.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what actually happened — in that order, and plainly.
  • Whether it happens every time or only happened once, and whether it also happens in a different browser.
  • The shape of the file — roughly how large, how many pages, whether it was scanned or exported from software, whether it was password-protected. Not the file itself.
  • Any error message shown on the page, copied out as text.

Worth checking before you write: the tools accept files up to 50 MB each and 20 files at a time. Those limits exist because the work happens in your browser's memory, and going past them is a common cause of a tool appearing to do nothing at all.

What I can't help with

Some requests are genuinely outside what this site can do, and it is fairer to say so here than to leave you waiting:

  • Recovering a document. Your files are never uploaded, so no copy of anything you processed exists on my side to recover.
  • Opening a password-protected PDF you do not have the password for. That is not a limitation I can waive; it is the point of the password.
  • Advice about what a document means or whether it is legally valid — contracts, signatures, tax paperwork. I can tell you how the file behaves, not what it obliges you to do.
  • Work on your files on your behalf. Please don't attach documents; see the note below.

A quick note on your files

Because every tool runs entirely in your browser, your documents are never uploaded and I never receive them. So if something goes wrong with a specific file, please don't email me the document — just describe what happened, and I'll help from there.
