Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
PDFLoveMe is built around a simple promise: your documents never leave your device. This policy explains what that means in practice.
Files you process
Every tool on PDFLoveMe runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. When you merge, split, rotate, convert, encrypt or compress a PDF, the file is read and processed locally on your computer or phone. We do not upload, receive, store, or have any access to your files. There is no server-side processing.
Information we collect
We do not require accounts and do not collect your documents. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage (such as which tools are popular). Any preferences you set are stored locally in your browser using localStorage and are never transmitted to us.
Advertising
We may display advertising through Google AdSense to keep the free tools available. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ad Settings. Ad networks operate independently of the file-processing tools, which remain fully local regardless.
Cookies & local storage
We use local storage for your preferences (such as your language or theme preference). Third-party advertising partners may set cookies as described above.
Data security
Because files are processed locally and never transmitted, there is no document data for us to secure on a server. For encryption, choose a strong password; we never see it and cannot recover it.
Children's privacy
PDFLoveMe is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
